At AHP, our priority continues to be the health, safety and care of our patients, our employees, and our community at large. Governor Lamont and the state Department of Economic and Community Development have deemed Chiropractic and Physical Therapy to be essential services. To this end, we are vigilantly following the evolving situation regarding COVID-19 and working to identify and act on what can be done to continually balance safety and health while continuing to serve you as an essential service.
What we are doing to provide a clean and safe environment for our patients and employees
- We are using CDC recommended cleaners and disinfectants to clean all treatment and therapy tables and high-touch surfaces in between every patient.
- During our busier hours, we’re allowing patients to call us from our parking lot so they may walk right into a room for treatment.
- We are keeping our physical therapy patients spread out in our rehab-gym to avoid close contact and to abide by the recommended 6 feet distance.
- We have individual treatment rooms which allows us to keep patients separated and safer than common treatment areas.
And remember, you don't need a doctor’s referral to be seen for Physical Therapy, except Medicare. You can come right in for treatment and therapy. We treat all musculoskeletal conditions so we are an excellent option to avoid exposure at primary care doctors offices if you have a problem with your wrists, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and of course neck and back.
