Dry needling is a treatment technique that is widely accepted as a part of Western medicine principles and is fully supported by scientific research for effectiveness and proven results. Through this therapy, we use “dry” needles and insert them through the skin into areas of the muscle for the treatment of pain and reduction of inflammation.
The number of necessary sessions varies a great deal for each patient. Our doctors will assess you at each visit to determine your progress and will follow up with you post treatment to gauge how you are doing with your acupuncture treatments.
Some people only need one to two treatments, but the general rule of thumb is 4 to 10 sessions is the average.
